Podcast of the Month
Too Beautiful to Live (TBTL to regulars) is a Monday - Friday radio show from 93.7 FM/710 AM, KIRO, Seattle. The podcast version of the program is availbale through I-Tunes or the KIRO website, mynorthwest.com - This show is great for simply kicking back and enjoying the moment. Yes, it is three hours long, each day, but well worth the time. I personally listen while exercising, cooking, mowing the lawn, whatever. Luke Burbank, Jen Andrews, Sean, and current intern Robin never fail to make me smile or bust out laughing. This is the only radio show that I have ever heard of throwing an anniversary celebration dance for listeners. The event was dubbed the TBTL Prom and took the "tens of listeners" back in time to the simultaneous angst and delight of their teen years. You don't have to live in the Seattle area to enjoy this! This show is like a bunch of friends hanging out and popping a beer or pouring a glass of wine and enjoying each other's company. RAWR!
A little of this and a little of that
A little of this and a little of that
As I See It...what is that supposed to mean? You may be asking yourself, "Who does this guy think he is and why does he think his opinion matters?" Well, I am just a normal, average citizen of this world and my opinion really only matters to me, sometimes my wife, and rarely to my teenaged daughters. So why take the time to put my thoughts out there for the world to read and criticize? Something to do in my spare time? A form of therapy to help me work through my own thought processes? A way to share with others and construct a meaningful dialogue on the issues that we all face and struggle with everyday? Ah, who knows? It might just be for the fun of it.
What you will find here will cover anything from my take on world events, adventures in the workplace, life changes, causes of interest, movies, struggles of parenting teenagers, sports, the overall state of society, or anything else that might have caught my interest before beginning to type aimlessly. And please, by all means, let me know your take on things as well. Even if you think that I am a complete idiot (you will have that in common with my wife half the time). Maybe you can convince me to change my mind, or I can persuade you to change yours. Who knows?
Check back regularly for new postings. I will try to throw stuff out there a few times a week, but we all know how life is. And remember, if you aren't having fun, then you're not doing it right!
